I hold a BA degree in biology. The main focus of my degree was physiology. I plan to attend graduate school as well. I'm currently applying to several programs within the Southern California area. My ultimate goal is to get a PhD in Neurobiology. I have experience serving as a tutor for an area high school program. I focus on helping students get prepared for their undergraduate degree. We prepare and study for the tests that they will take to get into their college program.When it comes to tutoring, I focus on a lot of chemistry and biology coursework. I help students with their studies after school. I often assist with biology, algebra, geometry, chemistry, and biomed topics. I love working with students on biology because it's my favorite subject!Many students feel stressed out about learning the above topics. I help them to feel more comfortable. I like to chat with my students at the beginning of their sessions to ease them up before we start studying. I also help my students look at problems in different ways. I've found that all students learn in different ways, so I experiment with different teaching techniques in order to be successful as a tutor.
