Experience
I was part of a program at UCSB called Bio-Mentors, where I tutored students in general biology and organic chemistry. I was also a tutor in high school for reading, writing, and science courses. I found tremendous value in getting one on one help in high school and in college, and for this reason, I want to continue to work as a tutor. I believe that tutors are an important part of achieving success in the classroom and receiving a meaningful education.
